Le papillon vit dans les vastes \u00e9tendues de la Sib\u00e9rie, d'o\u00f9 son nom. Il a une couleur allant du brun jaun\u00e2tre au presque noir. Les ailes ant\u00e9rieures sont beaucoup plus grandes que les ailes post\u00e9rieures, entrecoup\u00e9es de trois bandes plus fonc\u00e9es et ont une grande tache blanche au milieu de l'aile. Les ailes post\u00e9rieures sont unicolores.<\/p>\n

\"Papillon<\/p>\n

La teigne cocon sib\u00e9rienne commence ses ann\u00e9es de masse dans la seconde quinzaine de juillet. Ils sont plus actifs pendant les heures de coucher du soleil. Les femelles pondent leurs \u0153ufs sur des aiguilles, principalement sur les cimes inf\u00e9rieures. Avec la reproduction en masse, les larves peuvent \u00eatre trouv\u00e9es partout, m\u00eame sur le tronc des arbres et dans l'herbe sous eux. Les \u0153ufs de la teigne du cocon sib\u00e9rien se d\u00e9veloppent en 2 \u00e0 3 semaines.<\/p>\n

La nature de la nutrition et du comportement ressemble \u00e0 celle d'un cocon de pin. Leurs chenilles sont \u00e9galement similaires, seulement\u00a0Papillon cocon sib\u00e9rien<\/i>\u00a0ils sont plus fonc\u00e9s et avec des poils plus longs et plus raides. Ils se nourrissent d'aiguilles de tous types et de toutes races (c\u00e8dre, pin, sapin, m\u00e9l\u00e8ze, \u00e9pic\u00e9a, etc.). Tout le cycle de d\u00e9veloppement\u00a0Papillon cocon sib\u00e9rien\u00a0<\/i>dure environ deux ans, c'est-\u00e0-dire ils passent deux fois l'hiver.<\/p>\n
