La mariposa vive en las vastas extensiones de Siberia, por lo que obtuvo su nombre. Tiene un color desde marr\u00f3n amarillento hasta casi negro. Las alas delanteras son mucho m\u00e1s grandes que las traseras, est\u00e1n atravesadas por tres franjas m\u00e1s oscuras y tienen una gran mancha blanca en el medio del ala. Las alas traseras son de un solo color.<\/p>\n

\"Mariposa<\/p>\n

La polilla del capullo siberiano comienza sus a\u00f1os masivos en la segunda quincena de julio. Son m\u00e1s activos durante las horas del atardecer. Las hembras ponen sus huevos en agujas, principalmente en las coronas inferiores. Con la reproducci\u00f3n masiva, las larvas se pueden encontrar en todas partes, incluso en el tronco de los \u00e1rboles y en la hierba debajo de ellos. Los huevos de la polilla siberiana del capullo se desarrollan de 2 a 3 semanas.<\/p>\n

La naturaleza de la nutrici\u00f3n y el comportamiento se asemeja a una polilla de capullo de pino. Sus orugas tambi\u00e9n son similares, solo que\u00a0Polilla capullo siberiano<\/i>\u00a0son m\u00e1s oscuros y con pelos m\u00e1s largos y r\u00edgidos. Se alimentan de ac\u00edculas de todo tipo y raza (cedro, pino, abeto, alerce, abeto, etc.).
