The tentacled moth is a large or medium-sized butterfly with a thick, hairy body from the Lasiocampidae family. They can hardly be considered light, beautiful butterflies that you would run across the lawn and watch them flutter.<\/p>\n

Cocoonworms are more like fat moths that rush around this world like fighters.<\/p>\n

The front wings of these butterflies are much larger than the hind wings, their proboscis is reduced, i.e. weakened and they do not feed on them. The antennae are comb-like, brush-like, and the males are feathery. There are such types: pine<\/a>, ringed<\/a>, Siberian<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The caterpillars have 16 legs and a thick coat of hair, usually live on woody plants, and sometimes gather in "communities". The pupa of the silkworm is in a web cocoon, which is why they are often called silkworms.<\/p>\n
