Die Fl\u00fcgelspannweite betr\u00e4gt 8 cm, die Farbe ist sehr variabel, vor allem aber \u00e4hnelt sie der Kiefernrinde, nach der sie benannt wurde. Auf den Vorderfl\u00fcgeln befindet sich ein breiter rotbrauner Streifen und 2 halbmondf\u00f6rmige wei\u00dfe Flecken. Nach 2-3 Wochen erscheinen Raupen, die an jungen Nadeln nagen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Raupe erreicht eine L\u00e4nge von 8 cm, hat eine variable Farbe - von braun bis grau, und kleine dunkelblaue Streifen. Im Herbst gehen die Raupen zum \u00dcberwintern, klettern in die Nadelw\u00e4lder oder graben sich in den Boden und rollen sich zusammen. Im Fr\u00fchling klettern sie auf B\u00e4ume und fressen alte Nadeln.<\/p>\n<p><i>Kiefernkokon<\/i>\u00a0trockenliebende Art\u00a0<i>Schmetterlinge<\/i>Daher treten ihre Massenbrutzentren normalerweise in trockenen Kiefernw\u00e4ldern oder an erh\u00f6hten Orten auf kargen B\u00f6den oder Sandfl\u00e4chen auf und dauern normalerweise 7 bis 8 Jahre.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Ein ziemlich gro\u00dfer Schmetterling, insbesondere im Vergleich zu seinen Gegenst\u00fccken (Sibirische und Ringelkokonw\u00fcrmer).
