Der Schmetterling lebt in den Weiten Sibiriens, nach denen er benannt wurde. Die Farbe reicht von gelbbraun bis fast schwarz. Die Vorderfl\u00fcgel sind viel gr\u00f6\u00dfer als die Hinterfl\u00fcgel, werden von drei dunkleren Streifen durchzogen und haben einen gro\u00dfen wei\u00dfen Fleck in der Mitte des Fl\u00fcgels. Die Hinterfl\u00fcgel sind einfarbig.<\/p>\n

\"Schmetterlingssibirischer<\/p>\n

Der Sibirische Kokonmotte beginnt seine Massenjahre in der zweiten Julih\u00e4lfte. W\u00e4hrend der Sonnenuntergangsstunden sind sie aktiver. Die Weibchen legen ihre Eier auf Nadeln ab, haupts\u00e4chlich auf den unteren Kronen. Bei der Massenvermehrung sind Larven \u00fcberall zu finden, sogar am Baumstamm und im Gras darunter. Die Eier der Sibirischen Kokonmotte entwickeln sich nach 2 bis 3 Wochen.<\/p>\n

Die Art der Ern\u00e4hrung und das Verhalten \u00e4hneln einer Kiefernkokonmotte. Auch ihre Raupen sind \u00e4hnlich, nur eben\u00a0Sibirische Kokonmotte<\/i>\u00a0Sie sind dunkler und haben l\u00e4ngere, steifere Haare. Sie ern\u00e4hren sich von Nadeln aller Arten und Rassen (Zeder, Kiefer, Tanne, L\u00e4rche, Fichte usw.). Gesamter Entwicklungszyklus\u00a0Sibirische Kokonmotte\u00a0<\/i>dauert etwa zwei Jahre, d.h. Sie gehen zweimal in den Winter.<\/p>\n
